FRSC, JULIUS BERGER REVIEW PROGRESS ON LAGOS/SHAGAMU EXPRESSWAY

Kunle Job…

As part of preparations towards hitch-free travels towards the end of year festive season, the Ogun State Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission FRSC, Mr Clement Oladele and his team on Wednesday, met with the ProjectManager of Julius Berger Nigeria Limited, Engr Olaf Thamm and his team to review progress of work done on the Lagos/Shagamu portion of the Lagos/Ibadan expressway, on of the busiest corridors in Nigeria.

This is with a view of ensuring the free flow of traffic and safety of motorists and commuters this festive season as there will be an increase of vehicular and human traffic, making intra and inter-state journeys. Oladele was accompanied by the Shagamu Unit Commander and the Acting Unit Commander of Mowe.

The construction company promised to open-up the fairly completed sections of the expressway before their Christmas break on December 20 as well as well as make their cranes and emergency crew available to the FRSC during the period.
